Idon Ah Human Sketch and What $8,000 funded will look like
over 3 years ago – Mon, Aug 24, 2020 at 08:28:49 AM

Good morning everybody,

Thursday's the day. At 1 pm EST, the campaign ends. At the moment, we're on track to hit our next stretch goal and add deathless to the roster as a playable ancestry/race option. After that, our next goal isn't too far off either. But what would it mean to hit $8,000 funded?

For starters, the book right now is closing in on ~250 pages, with the additions it could get as high as ~275. At $8,000, we'll easily hit ~300 pages of content by adding a full chapter of Enemies & NPCs that can be found in the world of Theia. Here are a couple of examples to enjoy, and hopefully we can bring you even more.

During the Age of Fire, the kyver dragons ruled Theia, and the phaethos ruled the kyvers.
Nobody has ever found and verified that Ocean, the leader of the yellow dragon flight, actually died during Dragonfall.

We almost have all of Satoshi's sketches in. Yesterday, he sent us the Idon Ah human.

The teachings of the Philosophy of Light are key to maintaining structure in Idon Ah after the country declared its secession from the rest of Idon. The divine power of the Light is all that holds at bay the great darkness buried within Idon Ah. To aid in foreign diplomacy, Emperor Ah Fengahn has allowed for the building of smaller shrines to other known lawful and good religions, but only within temples dedicated to the Light. Those who wish to worship another deity in such locales must first pay a small tithe to the church to help with the upkeep of their shrines.

Spotlight: Usagi, half-orc sketches, and Voting on Our Next Expanded Race Begins at 175 Backers
over 3 years ago – Sat, Aug 22, 2020 at 09:38:25 PM

Good evening all,

It looks like we're picking up steam again in the last few days of the project (as expected). To help move things along, we're going to open up voting for our next expanded race at 175 backers. The race won't be guaranteed until we hit 200, but at least we can get a feel for where we're headed. If you're new to this project, we also have an opportunity for you and a friend to get free add-ons if you get them to sign up as well.

With each class, we also introduce an iconic character to represent it. For the sohei, that iconic character is Usagi, a leporine warrior. Steven has the story complete, so we put this together as a preview, and you can find the other iconic character stories on our website here.

We're already set to have Satoshi create actual art for Usagi, but for now, this is a pretty great stock art piece from JE Shields that we're using. The leporine will also receive two pieces for their full ancestry writeup much like the sketches we've been sharing on the main page (see below for our half-orcs, which just came in too).
