First Wave, New Award, and a Status Update
over 3 years ago – Sat, Sep 26, 2020 at 08:18:07 AM

Good morning everybody,

I just sent the locking notice through Backerkit for those of you who have replied already. In 48 hours, we'll lock those orders and charge any additional funds for add-ons, etc. There's still time to add something if you want, though.

For anybody who hasn't responded just yet, there's still time, but I can't send your early release copy of Lands of Theia if I don't know what edition you want or if there are add-ons to be gathered. Once this first wave goes out, I'll keep an eye out for your replies, and we'll set up a second wave of releases in another week or two. You can also direct interested friends to our preorder store here before it closes.

Maker Faire 2020 Award

In related news, Lands of Theia was selected for a maker award at this year's virtual Maker Faire. I've been attending this faire in Rochester, NY since its first year there, and I'm so excited that they chose this project. It really shows the amazing job Steven has done writing it and highlights all of our hard work to get it put together. Congratulations!

You can check out the Maker Faire Project here.

Status Update

Finalized art for the kyver dragons is in as are many of the races from Satoshi, and Brett's started on the remaining monsters we're adding to that chapter. Right now I am:

  • finishing this month's Patreon requests (which include some Patreon-exclusive bonus barrier sentinel content) such as the Borbotos shield mind, Perciman spellguard, and Onilaaran tinker sentinel options, as well as an Avemorane dual-shielding subclass/archetype.
  • working on layout for our Beth Jones product, Beyond the Mundane, which is a collection of archetypes that add some new, magical flare to existing classes in Pathfinder 1e.
  • Once those are done, it's back into full swing with updating the PF1 version to make it print ready and converting to the other editions.

A final note, we got our appraisal back on the house, and everything's just about ready to put through the finalization process. :D So excited.

Have a great weekend all, I'll check back in Monday once we start sending out the early copies.

The trojas are a kyver dragonflight of adamantine dragons. They're queen, testament, fought bravely against her sisters during Dragonfall, but ultimately could not defeat them both. The people of Idon honor her memory to this day.

Moving Right Along
over 3 years ago – Sun, Sep 20, 2020 at 11:57:46 PM

Hello everybody,

If you haven't seen yet, surveys have been sent out through Backerkit (you can help others find the store here) to give you the opportunity to upgrade or pick up add-ons for your pledges. Once I can collect your responses, I can send out the first wave of rewards.

Our next step is to finish adding everything to the book that we upgraded to with the stretch goals. I'll also begin the conversion to PF2 and 5e as soon as I finish getting out this month's Patreon and the other project I'm laying out for Beth Jones. I'll also send early release versions of those for you to keep track of as I upgrade them with more content so you can at least see the progress we're making as we do so. It's very likely I'll finish one before the other just because it's easier to stay in one edition mindset at a time.

We are now getting finalized art in for races, and we have the requests for the new content put together for as soon as Satoshi and Brett are ready for them. Here's a look at one of the kyver dragons we've finished since the campaign ended. Enjoy! If you have any questions, of course, don't hesitate to ask.

- Kevin

Gray dragons are some of the most dangerous beasts on Theia. They ruled Wutente and the surrounding area during the Age of Fire. Their sail-like fins can fold down and act as wings to help them glide, but they can't get much lift.
